The hopeful new year 2013 by the sacred calendar has come. To celebrate this, from Mar. 12th to 14th, over 500 pastoral staff in Korea attended the General Assembly 2013. On Mar. 12th (the first day of the first month by the sacred year), the Head Office staff with title, too, joined the celebration worship service that began at 10 a.m. at the Okcheon Go&Come Promise Temple.

Through the celebration worship service, Mother prayed that all Zions around the world will be filled with the blessing of the Holy Spirit in the new year, too. Mother expressed Her thanks to the members who made efforts for the gospel for the past one year, and blessed all the members so that they could receive great blessing and reward from God by diligently leading their neighbors, who did not know God, into life with love.

Likening God to a Potter and His people to clay, Mother said, “When the clay is made as the potter intends, it can be changed to a beautiful vessel. Let us be changed to perfect beings by obeying God’s will with a humble mind and by enduring to the end.”

And Mother said, “Since the kingdom of heaven is the place that only those who have no blemish and no defects can enter, let us yearn for the kingdom of heaven while being clothed with holiness, godliness and perfection.” Additionally, She asked the pastoral staff, “Please examine yourself to see how much you served the members for the past one year, and how much you sacrificed yourself for them. This year, try to love the members with a humbler mind and attitude like the prophets such as Noah, Abraham, Peter, Paul and John.”

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol emphasized during his sermon that the Bible is the word that contains the stern order of God who is King of kings, and said, “We are the ambassadors of God. Let us absolutely obey the words of the Bible, that is, the King’s order, and carry out the mission of the prophet who delivers the news of life to all nations and peoples of the world.”

The General Assembly continued until Mar. 14th. The pastoral staff had a precious time to have a new vision about the fulfillment of the world evangelism, engraving the words of God on their hearts and being clothed with the blessing and the power of the Holy Spirit at the training institute.
