“Save the souls who will purify the six billion people around the world like the three percent of salt that purifies the sea.”
While this work of salvation was being actively carried out in accordance with the will of God, gracious events were held for male and young adult members. The “2008 Summer Education and Training for Male Adults” was held successfully twice from August 3—each group for 4 days/3 nights. And on August 15, the “2008 Summer National Work Mission Workshop” for young adults was held for 3 days/2 nights.

The Education and Training was attended by over 600 male adults, who gathered at the Elohim Training Institute and studied God’s word, under the slogan, “Display the glory of Jerusalem Mother as the pillars of the Church.” The male adult members trained themselves both physically and spiritually, breathing fresh air and feeding on God’s word of life. They showed their fervor for the gospel, even hotter than the summer sun, and committed themselves to “preach the glory of God to Samaria and to the ends of the earth, as the faithful workers for the gospel.”

The Work Mission Workshop was attended by over 800 young adults. They studied the truth day and night, and strengthened their mindset towards the gospel. On the last day of the workshop, they watched a play depicting the current situation of young adults who are employed in the work force. Through the play, they repented for their shortcomings, and reaffirmed their will to establish God’s kingdom of grace in 600,000 workplaces around the world.

Mother was pleased to see that the male adults were filled with the Holy Spirit and the young adults were full of passion. At the closing service, Mother emphasized that “faith is being sure of what we hope for” (Heb 11:1-3), and encouraged them through words of wisdom, saying, “Believe absolutely that dreams and goals for the gospel in God will surely come true, and put efforts into winning a gold medal in the gospel, which you will receive in the kingdom of heaven, rather than pursuing vain, worldly desires.” In addition, Mother repeatedly advised them to devote themselves to studying the Word and preaching the gospel, saying, “When you study God’s word of life every day and preach it, you can save a soul through the water of life. By doing so, your soul will be fully armed, and you will be able to win a spiritual victory” (Eph 6:10-17; Rev 12:17).

The “2008 Summer Education and Training for Male Adults and National Work Mission Workshop” helped inspire the spirit of faith in them and lay the foundation for world evangelism. Everything including God’s word that they learned during the event has become a motivational power which enables the male and young adults to arise together and run towards the world mission.
